24 Jun 2008 - 9:00pm

Dick Nichols, National Co-ordinator of Socialist Alliance, and author of “Environment, Capitalism, Socialism” will be visiting Hobart to talk about the three major problems disrupting life as we know it in the world today. As millions protest food shortages in the third world, here petrol prices keep rising, droughts lengthen and in the United States economists are warning of a recession. Dick will take stock of the situation, assess the causes and speak about possible solutions.
